Injunctions

On 29 July David Mitchell obtained a privacy injunction on a without notice basis protecting against the disclosure of confidential information in a misuse of private information claim. A week earlier, in unrelated judicial review proceedings, David obtained an interim injunction in the Administrative Court on behalf of a London college to prevent the Secretary of State for the Home Department deporting 95 of its foreign national students subject to the Tier 4 immigration system. David was instructed by Jaswal Johnston LLP and Eversheds LLP in respect of the privacy and judicial review injunctions, respectively.
