We strive to provide efficient, friendly and versatile clerking so that solicitors are provided with accurate guidance when selecting barristers and effective administration when progressing the case.
Chambers is open from 8.30 am - 6.30 pm and mobile phone numbers are available on the answerphone message outside of these hours so that there is always someone available to answer queries and assist when needed. The Clerks are on hand to advise on Counsel's availability, charge rates and, where required, suitability. We fully appreciate that different cases benefit from different approaches and hope to tailor our service accordingly.
Our Clerking Team has a combined experience in excess of 90 years. Christopher Drury was the Senior Clerk at 10 King's Bench Walk before taking a vested interest in Ely Place Chambers. Richard Sheehan was the civil clerk at 10 King's Bench Walk and has been with chambers since its inception in July 2000. Kevin Morrow joined from another chambers in the Temple in 2001. Carol Belford joined as Chambers' Administrator in early 2006 having worked at 10 King's Bench Walk for 33 years. David Lovitt joined as Junior Clerk in September 2004.
